Along with South End Press, the Institute for Social and Cultural Change has included Z Magazine, Alternative Radio and Speak Out. The address for the Institute is 2 Wyman Place, Boston, MA 02130, although mail sent to South End Press will also reach the Institute (eventually).
Z Magazine is an award-winning political monthly magazine that features such writers as Noam Chomsky, Barbara Ehrenreich, Holly Sklar, Edward Herman, Elizabeth Martinez, Michael Albert, Ward Churchill, and Lydia Sargent. Subscriptions are $30 a year.
Alternative Radio is a weekly progressive radio program produced by David Barsamian, "an ingenious impresario of radical broadcasting" (Howard Zinn). His show is available free of charge to all public radio stations. Schedule, guest listings, and a catalog of programs on cassette are posted on the website.
Speak Out is the country's only not-for-profit progressive speakers and artists agency. They can provide progressive speakers, artists, exhibits, and films for your campus or community. Many South End Press authors participate in their program.
