Biography
Oscar Gish Oscar Gish was a health economist and member of the University of Washington International Health Program faculty from 1990 to his death in 2004. He also taught at the University of Sussex and at the University of Michigan, and worked for the World Health Organization. He published six books, as well as numerous reports and articles. Dr. Gish lived and worked in more than 50 countries, including Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Indonesia.
