All orders must be pre-paid. Include the title, number of copies, your mailing address, phone number, email, and credit card information (or check if using US mail). When using a credit card (only Visa and MasterCard accepted), be sure to list your name as it appears on the card, your card number, the expiration date, and the security code from the back of the card.
All orders require shipping and handling: $4.50 for the first book and 50 cents for each additional book. For inquiries on rush orders and shipping outside the United States, please call 1-800-533-8478.
Bulk Discounts and Bookstore/Wholesale Orders
Bulk Discount Policy
South End Press offers a discount for orders of five or more copies of the
same title. Organizations often take advantage of this discount to further their educational and fundraising aims, but pretty much anybody can get the discount for whatever purpose—although, of course, we'd prefer the books get into people's hands to be read, and hopefully acted on, as opposed, for instance, to being used to level tables, shelves, and the like. The bulk discount is not available to registered book resellers, retail representatives,
or book wholesalers.
All initial orders must be pre-paid, including shipping and handling, which will be charged according to the method requested. For estimating purposes, shipping is approximately $5.50 for the first book and 50 cents for each additional copy. Please allow several weeks for shipping or contact us for rush rates and rates for shipping abroad. Please call 617-547-4002 for more details.
All bulk orders get a 40% discount, with a minimum order of 5 of the same title required. Note that the customer pays shipping both ways if returning books, and will not be credited for copies that are not in resaleable condition.
Non-returnable
orders of 50 books or more (mixed titles okay) receive a 50% discount, plus shipping and handling.
To open
an account initial orders must be prepaid or secured
with a credit card. All
invoices are due in 30 days.
